Buhler Versatile
Im Jahr 2000 brachte Buhler Industries die traditionsreiche Versatile-Traktor-Linie unter ihr Dach und erwarb sie von New Holland zusammen mit dem Betrieb in Winnipeg. Versatile hatte sich bereits einen starken Ruf als prominenter Hersteller robuster, Allrad-Traktoren für den landwirtschaftlichen Einsatz erworben. Nach der Übernahme leitete Buhler eine strategische Bemühung ein, die Traktoren unter dem Namen Buhler-Versatile neu zu positionieren. Im Jahr 2007 erwarb jedoch Rostelmash, ein führender Hersteller von Mähdreschmaschinen mit Sitz in Russland, eine beherrschende Beteiligung an Buhler. Dies führte zu einer Rückkehr zum klassischen Namen Versatile für die Traktorenlinie, wodurch die Bezeichnung Buhler effektiv ausschied.
