CBT
Die Brazilian Tractor Company (CBT) stellte ein bedeutendes Kapitel in der Geschichte der brasilianischen Landmaschinen dar und fungierte von 1959 bis zu ihrer endgültigen Schließung im Jahr 1995 als Traktorenhersteller. Die anfänglichen Bemühungen des Unternehmens bestanden darin, Oliver-Traktoren zu importieren und zusammenzubauen, aber es entwickelte sich schnell weiter. Im Laufe der Zeit steigerte CBT schrittweise die lokale Produktion und die Fähigkeiten im Komponenten-Design. In den 1970er Jahren vermarktete das Unternehmen erfolgreich Traktoren unter eigenem Namen und behielt dabei eine klare Verbindung zu den ursprünglichen Oliver-Designs bei. Die Innovationen setzten sich bis in die 1990er Jahre fort, wobei CBT-Traktoren Käufer auf den amerikanischen Kontinenten fanden. Letztendlich wurde die Produktion 1995 eingestellt, da die Liberalisierung des brasilianischen Marktes die Schutzmaßnahmen für nationale Industrien beseitigte.
