Happy Farmer
Die Geschichte von Happy Farmer begann im Jahr 1916 mit der anfänglichen Herstellung von Traktoren in Minneapolis. Eine rasche Umorganisation folgte, die zur Gründung der La Crosse Tractor Company durch die Vereinigung von Happy Farmer und der Sta-Rite Engine Company führte. Diese neue Einheit stellte bis 1921 weiterhin Traktoren unter dem etablierten Namen Happy Farmer her. Obwohl Oshkosh Tractor Interesse an der Übernahme des Betriebs und der Verlagerung seiner Anlagen bekundete, scheiterten die Verhandlungen letztendlich und beendeten die Produktionsbemühungen von Happy Farmer.
