Ingersoll lawn tractors
Die Geschichte von Ingersoll begann 1983 mit der Übernahme der Case Outdoor Power Equipment Division durch Jack Ingersoll, einer Linie, die bis zu den Colt-Gartentraktoren der frühen 1960er Jahre zurückreicht. Mit der Beibehaltung der Produktion in Winneconne, Wisconsin, setzte Ingersoll die Tradition der Herstellung von Gartentraktoren fort und setzte dabei insbesondere die innovativen hydraulischen Antriebssysteme ein, die zuerst von Colt entwickelt wurden. Nach finanziellen Schwierigkeiten meldete Ingersoll 2005 Konkurs an, woraufhin Eastman Industries seine Vermögenswerte erwarb. Dies führte zu einem Umzug der Produktionsstätten nach Portland, Maine, bevor Ingersoll Outdoor seine Tätigkeit 2016 endgültig einstellte.
