Komatsu
Seine Ursprünge reichen bis ins Jahr 1917 zurück, Komatsu diente anfänglich als Fertigungsabteilung und stellte wichtige Bergbauwerkzeuge für seine damalige Muttergesellschaft her. Das Unternehmen begründete seine Unabhängigkeit offiziell im Jahr 1921. Ein entscheidender Moment kam 1931 mit der Vorstellung des ersten Raupenzugs Japans, einer bahnbrechenden Leistung im heimischen Ingenieurwesen. Durch eine strategische Allianz namens KIMCO produzierte Komatsu in den 1970er und frühen 1980er Jahren Traktoren für International Harvester. Gegenwärtig ist Komatsu der zweitgrößte Hersteller von Baumaschinen weltweit, ein Beweis für seine anhaltende Innovation und Qualität.
