Allis Chalmers lawn tractors
En 1961, Allis Chalmers inició una colaboración con Simplicity, encargándoles la fabricación de tractores para césped y jardín. Poco después, Allis Chalmers adquirió Simplicity en su totalidad, lo que llevó al desarrollo de una gama completa de tractores para césped. Un cambio ocurrió en 1983 cuando Allis Chalmers se desprendió de Simplicity y, posteriormente, la propia Allis Chalmers fue adquirida por Deutz. Esto marcó un período de inactividad de 25 años para la célebre marca Allis-Chalmers. Sin embargo, en 2008, Briggs & Stratton – habiéndose convertido en el propietario de Simplicity – revivió el legado de Allis-Chalmers, lanzándolo de nuevo con la innovadora serie AC130 de tractores para césped.
