Corbitt
Fundada en 1913 por Richard Corbitt, la Corbitt Company evolucionó a partir de sus orígenes en la fabricación de carruajes tirados por caballos y los primeros automóviles. La empresa alcanzó la prominencia fabricando camiones robustos, una cantidad significativa de los cuales sirvió en el Ejército de los Estados Unidos. Alrededor de 1949, Corbitt amplió su producción para incluir una línea de tractores agrícolas, muchos de los cuales fueron enviados para su uso en los mercados sudamericanos. Lamentablemente, la empresa fracasó poco después de la partida del Sr. Corbitt del negocio en 1952.
