Denning
En el amanecer del siglo XX, Denning fabricó tractores en el corazón de la ciudad de Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Comenzando como la Estherville Fence Factory en 1893, establecida por J.M. Denning, la empresa se reubicó en Cedar Rapids en 1899. Para 1912, la compañía había cambiado de la producción de cercas, vendiendo su maquinaria y patentes para convertirse en la Denning Motor Implement Company. Finalmente, en 1918, la General Ordnance Company adquirió Denning, inaugurando una nueva era y un cambio de nombre a National Tractor.
