Allis Chalmers lawn tractors
En 1961, Allis Chalmers a initié une collaboration avec Simplicity, leur confiant la fabrication de tracteurs de pelouse et de jardin. Peu de temps après, Allis Chalmers a acquis Simplicity en totalité, ce qui a conduit au développement d'une gamme complète de tracteurs de pelouse. Un changement s'est produit en 1983 lorsqu'Allis Chalmers s'est débarrassé de Simplicity, et par la suite, Allis Chalmers lui-même a été repris par Deutz. Cela a marqué 25 ans de dormance pour la célèbre marque Allis-Chalmers. Cependant, en 2008, Briggs & Stratton – étant devenu le propriétaire de Simplicity – a relancé l'héritage Allis-Chalmers, le lançant à nouveau avec l'innovante série AC130 de tracteurs de pelouse.
