Hart-Parr
L'histoire de Hart-Parr a commencé en 1901, fruit de l'imagination de Charles Hart et Charles Parr, deux étudiants ambitieux en ingénierie de l'Université du Wisconsin. Ces individus sont des figures fondamentales dans le développement des tracteurs à essence. Hart-Parr s'est distingué comme la première entreprise américaine à produire commercialement des tracteurs à essence, à partir de 1903, et elle peut prétendre être la toute première au niveau mondial, partageant cette distinction avec la société Ivel d'Angleterre, qui a également commencé à fabriquer la même année. L'entreprise a subi une transformation importante en 1929, en s'unissant à Oliver Chilled Plow pour créer la société consolidée Oliver.
