Pioneer Tractor
D'environ 1920 à 1927, la Pioneer Tractor Company a prospéré à Winona, dans le Minnesota, se spécialisant dans la construction de tracteurs puissants à essence. Elle a obtenu une reconnaissance notable pour la production de machines robustes essentielles à la transformation de vastes prairies en terres agricoles et à la facilitation de projets de construction routière. Pioneer s'est distingué en tant qu'innovateur visionnaire, étant parmi les premiers à intégrer des cabines et des carters moteur entièrement fermés dans ses conceptions, offrant aux opérateurs un confort et une protection améliorés. Cependant, le début de la Grande Dépression, combiné à un changement de marché vers des modèles de tracteurs plus compacts, s'est avéré préjudiciable à la fortune de Pioneer. Malgré des efforts de restructuration au début des années 1920, l'entreprise n'a pas pu reprendre pied et a finalement cessé ses activités en 1927.
