Burns lawn tractors
No início da década de 1960, a cidade de Louisville, Geórgia, abrigava a Burns Manufacturing, uma empresa especializada em tratores de jardim. Inicialmente estabelecida como Burns Tool Corporation por Sam Burns, a empresa mudou de propriedade em 1960, tornando-se parte da organização Draper. A Draper já englobava Blue Jet e Penfield, e sob sua égide, uma série de tratores Suburban Burns e Penfield foram produzidos. No entanto, em 1964, a Burns foi desmembrada, com a Gilson adquirindo tanto a linha de produtos de tratores quanto a de cultivadores.
