Leader
De 1913 a 1949, o nome 'Leader' adornou tratores utilizados em toda a paisagem americana, passando por diversos proprietários. A história começou em 1913, quando a Leader Engine Company absorveu a Midland Tractor, iniciando a produção de tratores no estado de Michigan. Subsequentemente, em 1915, a Leader uniu forças com outras empresas em uma consolidação que criou a Dayton Foundry & Machine, renomeada para Dayton-Dick. Esta entidade continuou a fabricar tratores em Illinois até 1924, evoluindo eventualmente para Dayton-Dowd. A celebrada designação 'Leader' experimentou um ressurgimento na década de 1940, adornando tratores utilitários compactos fabricados em Ohio até o último ano de produção da marca em 1949.
