Volvo
Em 1943, a Volvo iniciou sua incursão no setor de máquinas agrícolas através de uma colaboração com a Bolinder-Munktell, uma proeminente fabricante sueca de tratores. Os designs resultantes de ambas as empresas exibiam semelhanças substanciais, levando a Volvo a adquirir totalmente a Bolinder-Munktell em 1950. Embora mantidas como entidades distintas por um tempo, ambas as marcas foram unificadas em 1957 sob a bandeira combinada de Bolinder-Munktell-Volvo. Refletindo a crescente força do nome Volvo, a marca mudou mais uma vez em 1973 para Volvo BM. Uma parceria adicional foi forjada com a Valmet em 1978, culminando na alienação completa das participações da Volvo em tratores para a Valmet – atualmente conhecida como Valtra – em 1985.
