The McKee story commenced in 1949, originating with brothers Gerald and Russell McKee in Elmira, Ontario. Their initial endeavor involved the conception and construction of a forage blower. This evolved into the innovative McKee One Man Harvester – a forage harvesting machine that dramatically reduced the manpower traditionally needed for baling. During the early 1980s, McKee also facilitated the import and resale of tractors manufactured by Ebro, a Spanish company, adding another dimension to their agricultural offerings.

Memo Industrial Planning originated as a producer of diesel engines in Germany. The company broadened its scope to include agricultural machinery, marketing tractors conceived by Deutz and manufactured under licensing agreements within Yugoslavia.
