Das Heider Reibradgetriebe war ein stufenloses Getriebe. Die Geschwindigkeit wurde durch Verschieben des gesamten Motors ausgewählt, wodurch sich der Kontaktpunkt zwischen dem Schwungrad und den Antriebsscheiben änderte. Obwohl jede Geschwindigkeit möglich war, gab es sieben Kerben für den Hebel, was effektiv sieben Gänge ergab. | |
