Ford listed several mowers for the 1700. Finish mowers were a 60-inch mid-mount and 59 or 72 inch rear. Rough cutting was possible with a 60-inch rotary cutter or a flail mower in 62 or 74 inch widths. Dirt work was possible with 72 and 84 inch blades and a 65-inch Gannon box scraper. Soil work was possible with 48 and 54 inch tillers. The model 725 rear trencher was available, with a cut up to 10 inches wide at three feet deep.
