Four speeds (1-4) in three ranges (L/M/H) plus reverse range. Speed changes are synchronized using the clutch. Tractor must be stopped to shift ranges. Depressing the clutch fully activates a transmission brake, it is recommended to depress it two-thirds when shifting gears.

Power shift transmission operated with a single control lever. Lever is moved ahead for forward range and to the back for reverse range, the neutral-lock button must be pressed to move the lever into range. Pushing right up-shifts and left down-shifts. Transmission always begins in first gear. Pressing the clutch while in motion will cause the transmission to automatically down-shift to match ground speed.

With 20.8R42 rear tires.
