IMT

Industrija Mašina i Traktora (IMT) represented a significant chapter in Serbian agricultural engineering, specializing in the creation of farm tractors. Rooted in a foundry established in 1947, the company initially forged its path by manufacturing Massey Ferguson tractors through a licensing agreement starting in 1955. The decades of the 1970s and 80s witnessed a period of considerable growth and expansion for IMT. However, the turn of the millennium brought increasing difficulties, culminating in a cessation of production in 2015. In 2018, the IMT legacy was acquired by TAFE, marking a new phase for the iconic brand.
